Since we’re not California natives, having a wedding anywhere would’ve meant most of our guests flying in anyway. Choosing Puerto Rico made sense not only because it’s a beautiful destination, but also because it allows us to share a meaningful piece of Perla’s heritage.

It’s actually more cost-efficient for many of our guests and for us! Plus, what better way to celebrate than trying cultural foods, exploring the island, and bringing together both of our families for something that feels like a true experience? It’s also Perla’s way of honoring her roots before changing her last name 💛

Please feel free to bring your children as this is a family celebration! There will be rooms with pack and plays available at the venue for naps and feeding.

Our requested dress code is tropical inspired. Polished enough for a celebration, but relaxed enough to be dancing comfortably under the palms.

For women, think flowy dresses, tropical or floral prints, bold colors or silky neutrals. For men, linen or cotton pants with a collared shirt (light suits optional) is perfect. Skip the tie!

Expect a mix of Puerto Rican traditional flavors and classics, with vegetarian and vegan options available.

Yes, but with a twist! We're doing a mocktail bar with the option to add a little something for those who'd like to drink alcohol.

The ceremony will take place outdoors, with the reception taking place both indoors and outdoors. Covered areas, warm breezes, and beautiful views! We recommend dressing comfortably for warm weather and bringing a light wrap or fan for your comfort.
